The Threshold
of Spring
春の境界
A wall divided into pink and blue, a single window, and a tree announcing spring. Where colour and light, architecture and life meet, the work reveals a small blessing opening unexpectedly within the everyday.
The Threshold
Spring arrives
at the threshold.
A quiet wall divided into pink and blue. A closed window on the left; a tree in full bloom on the right. Across the architectural planes of vertical lines, flowers and diagonal shadows inscribe a moment that will never occur in quite the same way again.
Artifice and nature, stillness and growth, interior and exterior: opposing states rest gently beside one another. Clear colour and a pared-back composition bring the light and breathing space of spring into the room.
